Harry Gould is a creative bass player, guitarist, teacher and producer/composer living in London. A versatile musician with substantial experience both live and in the studio, he has performed across the UK and Europe including venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and Montreux Jazz Festival. He is currently working with various artists and bands spanning funk & soul, pop/rock, jazz, RnB, and musical theatre. Harry is equally adept improvising, reading and playing from memory. He doubles on acoustic & electric guitar.

Harry completed his undergraduate degree in music at Cardiff University, leading the university’s Big Band as musical director in his third year. Graduating from Cardiff with first-class honours, he then undertook a masters in jazz at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. There he studied bass under Jules Jackson, Laurence Cottle, and Rob Mullarkey, graduating with distinction in 2021.

As well as performing on bass and guitar, Harry teaches private lessons in both instruments. He has also contributed to various projects creatively as a composer, producer and bandleader.
